Chilling of chicken meat
Companies chill their chicken prior to shipping and print on their labels the chilling method. There are two methods in chilling:
1- water chilling,
2- air chilling,
the second method is far better to the value of your dollar. The first method (water chilling) causes the chicken drum to shrivel to approximately 2/3 of the precooking size due to water loss from meat, while the second method ( air chilling) does affect the size of precooking meat.

Chicken Protein or is it ..?
What did they inject chicken protein with..?
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in the UK had investigated companies involved in marketing chicken meat for mislabeling their packages. During an interview with Mark woolfe, head of food authenticity, he indicated that an investigation has been launched a while ago for the Food Standards Agency. The agency is aware that water injection in chicken meat is a standard process.
In order to keep their chicken fresh looking, chicken companies such as Euro Foods Group, uses water to inject in chicken meat. These companies realized that water leaks from the meat after injection which defeats the purpose of the water injection. In order to come over the water leak problem, the companies started to mix protein with water in order to retain the water inside the meat. The problem revolves around the type of protein used to inject the meat. Companies producing the protein for injection are not properly labeling their products. The FSA has discovered that the protein used for injection is not a chicken protein, as they claim. Scientific testing indicated that the injected protein originated from pork and beef. In addition to mislabeling the process contradict religious believes to Muslim and Jews. Other research indicated that some companies have used whey protein to inject chicken. This procedure is very harmful to people who have allergies to whey protein.

he Toronto Medical Post reported on its December 14th 2010, page 55 that a recent research indicated that patients who have cholesterol deposits on
eyelids are at significant risk of heart attacks, ischemic heart disease and possible death. It reported that a research indicated that these xanthelasmata are deposits that, like atheromas, are composed of macrophages that have taken up cholesterol and became foam cells. A Danish researcher indicated that, the above study lasted 33 years which revealed that when these yellowish lesions are observed then the risk of heart attack is increased 51%, the risk of developing ischemic heart disease is increased 40% and the risk of death is increased 17% when compared with individuals who do not exhibit xanthelasmatas. Dr. Mette Christoffersen PhD of
University of Copenhagen Hospital said the prevalence of xanthelasmatas is 4.4%.
For the past 10 years, I have been treating this condition with Lecithin granules, EFA and elimination of processed fat and elimination of fried food.

Cholesterol vs Gallbladder
Cholesterol and gallbladder.
Patients with increased cholesterol in the blood, normally have an issue with their clogged gallbladders'. The opposite is also correct, you would expect that patients with clogged gallbladder have increased cholesterol in the blood.
Patients who have lost their gallbladder to surgery, would face two problems:
1- gradual increase in weight (central obesity),
2- increased serum cholesterol,
Serum cholesterol will not correct unless the gallbladder is unclogged and fried food is removed from diet.

Ginseng as anti allergic treatment
Ginseng as an anti-allergic treatment.
A recent study on Ginseng extracts at the College of Pharmacy in Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Korea indicated that when ginsenoside was incubated (anaerobically) with human fecal microflora, all specimens metabolized ginsenoside and produced compound K.
Compound K exhibited the most potent antiallergic activity on the IgE-induced cell line as well as potent cytotoxic activity against tumor cell lines.

Vitamin D3 requirements
Recent studies on vitamin D3 have outlined immune enhancements in addition to its known benefits in helping calcium cross from the digestive tracks into the circulation. New studies showed more benefits of vitamin D3 in reducing the incident of breast cancer in women deficient in vitamin D3.
The trend in the USA indicate that in a 2007 study of childbearing women in the Northern U.S. found insufficient vitamin D3 levels in 54% of black women and in 42% of white women.
Other studies have linked Vitamin D3 deficiency to Cancers (colon, prostate etc), depression and weight gain. Further it has been highlighted in the prevention of hypertension, autism, autoimmune disease, depression, flu, neuromuscular diseases, and of course osteoporosis.
These studies show that people with higher levels of vitamin D have a lower risk of the above listed disease.
More researches are still required to substantiate these claims.
Sun is the best form of supplementation (does not have to be in a resort down south). Among the best recommended dietary forms is liquid and the best sources in non-fried food of salmon, tuna, sardines, mackerel and cold pressed olive oil.
